Coerver Coaching have now expanded into Cork’s Northside with their new projects with LeisureWorld & St Mary’s FC.
St Mary’s FC are the latest club to sign up to Coerver’s Partner Club program, which kicked off on Monday night with the first Coach Education session at St Mary’s Park. St Marys would be recognised as one of the larger soccer clubs in Cork and are very proud to celebrate their 70th anniversay this year.
Initially Coerver Coaching will focus on the club’s academy structure providing access to Coerver’s Curriculum, Training Methods & Coach Education for the clubs growing volunteers and parents. Going forward the partnership will focus on other exciting projects that will benefit the club and their local community. “This partnership has taken 4 years to come to fruition, as my first conversation with Ken Daly was in 2014, but we are delighted to finally develop a Northside Partner Club. Over the years we had several discussions with various people from St Mary’s but we never got things finalised until now. We spoke with Ken earlier in the season and he outlined the clubs plans and the focus on the younger age groups and it was clear that the partnership would work. With the LeisureWorld agreement in place as well, Coerver will make a commitment to deliver weekly sessions and regualy holiday camps in the area.” Jason Brown Coerver Director
“It’s exciting times for St Mary’s and we are really pleased to get the Coerver Partnership in place, the long term plans for the club need quality coaching and the structures in place to meet the growing numbers in our academy. Coerver have over 30 years experience of working with young players from grassroots to top Pro Clubs and their intergration will be a key part of our plans for the coming years. ” Ken Daly St Marys FC Academy Director
