Coerver Coaching Munster have announced that Ex Irish International Joe Gamble has joined their ranks.
Joe Gamble, Professional Footballer for 16 years, having applied his trade in Ireland, the UK and Asia, winning domestic honors and International caps for Republic of Ireland, playing at all levels from U15 to full Senior honors.
On his appointment Joe said “I’m a massive fan and a firm believer of the Coerver philosophy. The benefit’s involved in a Coerver Program can only enhance the development of any young aspiring footballer. I was lucky that I had such great coaches when I was young. but I also know now that with extra technical football sessions my ability would have been even greater. As a professional player I have been fortunate to work with some great players and coaches. I have come to realise that regardless of the standard, technique & skill execution will always be the difference. I appreciate the invaluable input from my coaches as a young player and I am looking forward now to giving something back to grassroots soccer in Cork through the proven and globally recognized Coerver Curriculum.
Coerver Coaching Munster Technical Director, Jason Brown added “I am delighted to have Joe on board, having worked with Joe in the past it was initially our plan to launch Coerver Munster together, but at the time other opportunities came Joe’s way. We both share a passion and enthusiasm for the game and we want to give all aspiring young players involved with Coerver the best possible soccer experience we can offer. Once I knew Joe was coming home, a phone call is all it took for our plans to become real and do what we always intended. Joe has a wealth of knowledge and experience from his playing career and coaching roles, which will now be used for the benefit of grassroots soccer development in our region. The interest in Coerver, in Munster has grown significantly over the last year and we have had to put projects on hold as we simply didn’t have enough hours in the week to meet this demand. We have recruited new coaches recently throughout Munster and have a very busy 2016 schedule ahead of us, with new exciting projects being launched later this year.”
Coerver will be launching new academy programs with Joe’s involvement, starting in Cork at Blackrock, Togher, Blarney and other venues in Cork during March to add to their existing 14 Academy venues in Cork & Limerick.
